Biitigong Nishnaabeg invites students up to 30 years of age and returning in the fall to apply. Under the Supervision of the Guardians Program team Supervisor and the Summer Student Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Helping with a variety of different tasks by rotating through different functional teams
• Participate in field projects studying rare plants and animals
• Learn about the Visitor Safety Program
• Assist in delivering interpretive programs and answering visitor questions
• Provide grounds and facility maintenance services

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate clearly, give clear information to the public, supervisors, and co-workers
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to follow directions
• Interest in the outdoors and Pukaskwa National Park
• Willing to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
• Willingness to get your hands dirty, and work in wet, sometimes cold, and buggy conditions
