Biigtigong Nishnaabeg invites students from 15 to 30 years of age coming from school and returning in the fall to apply.

Under the supervision of Pamela Michano, Manager, this position will report directly to the Summer Student Supervisor, the Visitor Information Attendant’s duties will include:

• Provide information to visitors about local area.
• Provide information to visitors about tourist attractions and local special events.
• Know about local services, activities, and retail sales.
• Promoting all amenities, conveniences and program offered
• Working alongside a team of people
• General maintenance and upkeep of Gchi Waaswaaganing
• Some retail services with Gchi Waaswaaganing’s Artisans Store and Convenient Store.
• Customer Service

Requirements:

• Ability to take initiative.
• Effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and organization skills
• To be able follow through with instructions given
• Positive and energetic attitude
• Own ride to the location
• Wearing a uniform t-shirt
• Working flexible hours (weekends)
